CalRecycle has issued a "Low Population" waiver (residents only) from the requirement to recycle organic waste (SB-1383) in the unicorporated county area. Therefore, green waste and organic waste recycling is not available at this time.
Commercial Organics Recycling has expanded services to include additional cart options. And, Mixed Organics (yard waste + food waste) can be commingled in the same green cart or bin.
Collection of appliances, furniture, eWaste and tires
A week-long clean-up event is held twice a year in April and October.

Small quantities of antifreeze, batteries, oil and paint can be taken to the City's HHW Facility (not accepted by DVD).
Convenient curbside disposal is available to residential customers. Oil is then recycled and converted to other products.
We accept some special wastes including tires and animal waste (for a fee). But, medical sharps/needles, florescent bulbs and aerosol cans go to HHW.
