While the description of the various bin sizes relate to volume, the weight of the material should be considered when choosing a bin size. If you have a particularly heavy load, you might consider multiple 10- or 20-cubic yard containers instead of one 40-yard box.

If so, you might consider a smaller Temporary Bin. They are ideal for smaller construction and remodeling projects.
If payload tonnage exceeds the average payload you will be charged an additional payload fee. In general, a box can only carry a 10-ton legal payload. Loads exceeding the maximum will be off-loaded at your expense.
Please note that a 40 cubic yard box can't hold twice as much payload as a 20 cubic yard container. If you have a particularly heavy load, you might consider multiple 10- or 20-cubic yard containers instead of one 40-yard box.
A 10 ton payload will allow our trucks to transport the material legally on the highway. Boxes that are overloaded will be returned to the customer for off-loading that will include a return trip charge. All suspected heavy payloads are weighed at our facility before they are hauled to the disposal facility.
